    The Whistle is a digital human rights reporting platform that connects civilian witnesses and human rights NGOs by supporting the verification process. A team of us are developing The Whistle as part of the Chain React project with the support of a Horizon 2023 grant.

    This report builds on a discussion document prepared for the UN Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary, or arbitrary executions ahead of his thematic report on the use of information and communication technologies to secure the right to life, presented at the 29th session of the UN Human Rights Council. It identifies initiatives and trends in the use of ICTs for the human rights practices of prevention, fact-finding, and accountability.
